During our November inspection last year the Inspector had the following comments to make about the overall quality of teaching, learning and assessment:

Staff plan precise activities that are focused to meet all children’s individual learning needs.

They provide children with real-life experiences and an extensive range of natural materials and resources.

Children’s learning is exceptionally well promoted as they demonstrate their independence, creativity and imagination.

A highly stimulating environment, rich in print, helps support children to acquire new language.

Children are skilfully encouraged to contribute during lively discussions.

Staff expertly develop children’s communication and literacy skills as they look at books together.

Children confidentially demonstrate their understanding of print.
