At Shrewsbury Prepatoria we understand that children learn best when they are taught in small groups and led by experienced and knowledgeable adults. Our pre-school accommodates a maximum number of just 16 children. Children are organised into small groups, dividing their time between the wonderful Art Studio in the garden, the wooded area and the teaching room. All children spend quality time with the teacher where individualised teaching plans are put into practice. Two experienced adults support the sessions everyday and all teaching and planning is led by Jane Smalley. We plan our curriculum carefully ensuring that children leave us excited, motivated and ready for school. Our daily program includes; Jolly Phonics, literacy, maths and handwriting. We have only a limited number of spaces remaining for this term. Stay and Play sessions provide us with a valuable opportunity to assess your child’s strengths and interests whilst enabling your child to play and explore the environment.
